Heatherley Park

A prestigious 15-acre venue amidst woodland and parkland that’s perfect for services, pilgrimage and remembrance.

You’ll find things are different at a GreenAcres Living Memorial Park. Death is part of life, so we create beautiful, natural spaces in British woodlands and landscapes that help people come to terms with loss. You won’t find rows of headstones in our Parks. Instead, you’ll be uplifted by the power of nature and given the space you need to reconnect with loved ones.

We understand that every individual is unique. Whether or not your loved one has been laid to rest in one of our Parks, we provide a range of natural and unique options to create a fitting and personal memorial to help you live with loss more easily.

Living Memorial Tree

By planting a Living Memorial Tree, you create a heartfelt tribute to a life well lived. Beneath each tree lies a calming presence, where every leaf and branch serves as a poignant reminder of the person we hold dear. These trees enhance the landscape, transforming with each changing season, to offer visitors comfort and remind them that their memories will flourish within nature’s embrace.
A Living Memorial Tree is dedicated exclusively to your family and can accommodate ashes, burials, or a combination of both.

Tree Circle

Set amidst natural beauty, a memorial within a Tree Circle serves as a heartfelt tribute to a life well lived. A Tree Circle offers a shared resting place, where multiple families can connect through a single tree – fostering a sense of community. Blending into the landscape and changing with the seasons, a Tree Circle provides a reflective space for visitors, ensuring memories flourish within nature’s embrace.
Each plot within a Tree Circle accommodates burials, ashes, or a combination of both.

Living Memorial Bay

Bordered by natural logs or neatly trimmed hedges, a Living Memorial Bay serves as a timeless tribute to love and remembrance. Each bay offers a unique and dedicated space for families to connect with their loved ones. Set amidst peaceful woodlands and open meadows, each bay is thoughtfully designed to blend with the surroundings.
Ideal for those seeking a private space, a Living Memorial Bay is suitable for ashes, burials, or a combination of both.

“We buried my uncle at Heatherley in April 2024 after also burying my Aunt there in 2020. It really is a beautiful and tranquil place. The Gathering Hall is a lovely space to personalise your service and I can’t fault Kate, Ness and Jenny, the staff who helped us. They were always very kind and supportive in the planning and very professional on the day. Thank you very much.”
“The team at Heatherley were so helpful and kind during a very difficult time. I have since attended the monthly coffee mornings which I have found very helpful. Having somewhere to go where people understand exactly what you’re going through and knowing they have come out the other end has been a great comfort to me. Knowing that I am not going to be rushed whilst I decide to do with my husband’s ashes is also a big relief I cannot give enough praise to the amazing team.”
”Beautiful”
” Lovely”
“Amazing”

“These are words you rarely use to describe a funeral, but it is just how family and friends described our Dad’s Interment of Ashes, Service of Thanksgiving and Wake at Heatherley last week. Even the sun shone, and the birds sang!!”
